With speeds up to 150 Mbps, Viasat Unleashed offers no data caps or contracts, unlike other satellite internet providers. EasyCare and EasyCare+ subscribers get the first three months free while EasyCare Premium comes at a reduced price for the first three months.

Viasat Internet Fees

As with all internet providers, Viasat requires certain equipment (a satellite dish and modem) to connect your home. You have the option to either rent the dish monthly, or to enter into a lifetime lease (meaning you can keep the equipment for as long as you have Viasat service, but you must return it upon switching providers).

If you plan on staying with the company a long time, the lifetime lease may be worth the purchase as it will save about $60 after the first two years of service.

Installation of the dish is usually free; however, some customers may have to pay Viasat’s $99 professional installation fee. Keep in mind that the installation may cost more money if you opt for a different mounting option.

When it comes to bundling your Viasat internet plan, you can add DISH or Viasat Voice to your overall package. With Viasat Voice, you get numerous calling features and unlimited local and long-distance calls for $25 per month for the first three months when you bundle it with Viasat internet. With DISH, you can access 290+ channels, over 36,000 on-demand titles, and watch many of the most well-known channels such as ESPN, Disney Channel and the Hallmark channel. Channels, prices and available titles with DISH will depend on which package you choose.
